The CAMLOG Foundation was established over ten years ago. Its goal has always been to create and disseminate knowledge by funding research projects and advance education, as well as sponsoring young scientific talents. A central focus has been the exchange of specialist knowledge in the field of oral implant dentistry and related areas among scientists, practitioners and the industry all of which is to the benefit of patients. To date, the CAMLOG Foundation has financed more than 140 scientific projects, studies and grants, and is promoting continuous training and advancing education. The Foundation Research Award, which is awarded every two years and endowed with EUR 20,000, has become well established over the years.
The CAMLOG Foundation is now preparing for the future and has been relaunched as the Oral Reconstruction Foundation. The resulting independence opens the Foundation for other fields in dentistry and for cooperation’s with various companies in order to guarantee the development of research in the field of oral reconstruction. Additionally it is our goal to strengthen and expand our position as a global continuing education provider. In April 2016, the partner foundation, "Oral Reconstruction Foundation - U.S. Section", was founded.
And, of course, the Oral Reconstruction Foundation will remain faithful to its commitment to "Science – Education – Patient“. This ever-present interaction is reflected by our new logo.
