Gerhard Iglhaut

Dr. Gerhard Iglhaut, DDS, PhD

Dr. Iglhaut earned a degree in dentistry from Justus Liebig University of Giessen, Germany, where he also earned specialist certificates in Oral Surgery, Oral Implantology (DGI) and Periodontology (EDA). He also holds a PhD from Georg-August-University in Göttingen, Germany. He has served as both a board member and president of the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI) and is a member of the committee of continuous education of the European Academy of Osseointegration (EAO).

Dr. Iglhaut serves as faculty in Oral Implantology and scientific researcher at the University of Freiburg, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Plastic Surgery. He holds fellowship/membership in numerous dental professional organizations including the European Academy of Osseointegration (EAO), and German Association of Periodontology (DGParo). Dr. Iglhaut lectures internationally on oral implantology, periodontology, plastic periodontal surgery and periodontal microsurgery. He maintains a private practice in Memmingen, Germany.
