We proudly announce the winners of the CAMLOG Foundation research award 2014/2015 who received their awards at the 6th International CAMLOG Congress 2016 in Krakow, Poland.

1st Place

Platform switch versus platform match in the posterior mandible – 1-year results of a multicentre randomized clinical trial.

The purpose of this ongoing randomized study was to assess differences in bone level changes and success rates using implants supporting single crowns in the posterior mandible either with platform matched or platform switched abutments.

Assistant Professor Dr. Salomão Rocha

2nd Place

Radiographic evaluation of conical tapered platform-switched implants in the posterior mandible: 1-year results of a two-center prospective study

Long-term success of dental implants depends on healthy peri-implant soft tissues and adequate bone levels. This prospective study aims to assess bone level changes around implants with internal conical connection and platform-switching abutments in the posterior mandible.

PD Dr. Dr. Maximilian Moergel

3rd Place

Immediately loaded distally cantilevered fixed mandibular prostheses supported by four implants placed in both in fresh extraction and healed sites: 2-year results from a prospective study.

To evaluate the outcome of immediately loaded distally cantilevered mandibular full-arch prostheses according to the 'all-on-four' concept supported by implants placed in both fresh extraction and healed sites.
