Luca Cordaro

Prof. Luca Cordaro, MD, DDS, PhD

Luca is President of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation, where he plays a central role in shaping the it’s scientific direction and strategic initiatives in education and research.

He is Head of the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome and maintains a private practice in the same city. He completed his academic training in Italy and holds degrees in Medicine (MD), Dentistry (DDS), and a PhD, as well as a post-doctoral qualification in oral surgery.

Luca is actively engaged in both clinical practice and research, with recognized expertise in the surgical and prosthetic phases of implant therapy. He has authored numerous scientific publications, including a volume of the ITI Treatment Guide series, and contributes regularly to academic and professional literature.

He was a long-standing member of the Board of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and has held leadership positions within the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO), including serving as its President. Prof. Cordaro lectures internationally on topics related to implant dentistry and oral reconstruction.
