Oscar Battegay – Attorney-at-Law and Civil Law Notary Public

Oscar Battegay studied economics and law at the Universities of Basel and Neuchâtel, Switzerland, earning his law degree from the University of Basel. He is a licensed attorney-at-law and Civil Law Notary Public. Today, he serves as Of Counsel at the Basel-based law firm Battegay Dürr AG, which he co-founded. Oscar brings extensive expertise and a distinguished track record in the fields of medical devices, life sciences, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and start-ups.

His unique combination of analytical acumen and entrepreneurial vision has made him a key contributor to the Oral Reconstruction Foundation’s success. Since the Foundation’s inception, Oscar has played a pivotal role in shaping its development.

He conceived the idea of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation in 2006, provided legal counsel from its incorporation onward, and served as a valued member of its Board of Directors. His appointment as an Honorary Member reflects the Foundation’s deep appreciation for his enduring commitment and exceptional contributions. Thanks to his guidance, the Foundation continues to uphold the highest standards of compliance, transparency, and governance.
